Colonel Kathryn A. Burba

 

 

     COL Kathryn A. Burba was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant into the Quartermaster Corps after completion of the Reserved Officer Training Corps (ROTC), and graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (in 1987). Her military education includes the Quartermaster Officer Basic Course, the Strategic Mobility Course, the Aerial Delivery Course, the Support Operations Course, the Combined Logistics Officer Advanced Course, the Combined Arms Staff Services School, the Command and General Staff College and the Army War College.  

     COL Burba’s first assignment took her to Germany where she served as the Supply Platoon Leader in Alpha Company, 3rd Forward Support Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division, Schweinfurt, Germany, and as the Class IX Supply Platoon Leader in Charlie Company, 703rd Main Support Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division, Kitzingen, Germany. She deployed to Saudi Arabia in support of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm and served as the Battalion S-4 in the Area Support Battalion. Following her deployment, she returned to Germany and served as the Executive Officer, Charlie Company, 703rd Main Support Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division. She then served her first tour in Korea as the Maintenance Management Officer, DMMC, 2nd Infantry Division, and as the Commander of Alpha Company, 702nd Main Support Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division. COL Burba’s next assignment took her to the Pentagon where she served as an Intern on the J-4 Staff, a Logistics Staff Officer on the DCSLOG Staff and as an Aide De Camp to the Secretary of the Army.  

     Her follow-on assignment took her to Fort Hood, Texas where she served as the Material Management Officer, DMMC, 1st Calvary Division, Executive Officer for 27th Main Support Battalion, and as the Support Operations Officer for 115th Forward Support Battalion, 1st Calvary Division. Upon completion of her assignment at Fort Hood, she returned to Washington, DC, where she served as the Operational War Planner on the Joint Staff. She then returned to the Land of the Morning Calm where she commanded the 302nd Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division. Prior to assuming command today, COL Burba served at Headquarters, Army Material Command, as the Chief of the Commanding General’s Initiatives Group, Fort Belvoir, Virginia.  

     COL Burba’s' military decorations and awards include the Bronze Star Medal, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (2nd OLC), the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Army Commendation Medal (2nd OLC), the Army Achievement Medal (1 OLC), the National Defense Service Medal (1 OLC), the Southwest Asia Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Ribbon, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Korean Defense Service Medal, the Kuwait Liberation Medal, the Joint Meritorious Unit Award, the Parachutist Badge, the Parachute Rigger Badge, the Army Staff Identification Badge and the Joint Chiefs of Staff Identification Badge.

 

 

Brigade Command Sergeant Major

 

Command Sgt. Maj Clinton G. Hall

 

CSM Clinton G. Hall entered the Army on 27 May 1983, and attended Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sill Oklahoma as a 13B. His first duty station was D Battery 4th Battalion 325 (ABCT) Vicenza Italy and was then assigned to A Battery 6th Battalion 14th field Artillery. CSM Hall reenlisted and changed his MOS to 52C Utilities Equipment Repairer, and was assigned to the 1/58th Aviation Regiment at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
 

CSM Hall’s previous assignments include Shop Forman D Company 782nd Maintenance Battalion 82nd Airborne Division, Advanced Airborne School Instructor 82nd Airborne Division, DISCOM Air Operations NCO 82 Airborne Division, DOL plans and operations NCO 34th Support Group 19th TACOM Yongsan Korea, Material NCOIC G-4 82nd Airborne Division, Platoon Sergeant B Company 302nd Forward support Battalion 2nd Infantry Division Camp Casey Korea, First Sergeant 61st Maintenance Company 227th Maintenance Battalion Camp Kyle Korea, First Sergeant HHC DISCOM 101st Airborne Division Air Assault Fort Campbell KY, First Sergeant HHC DISCOM 2nd Infantry Division Camp Casey Korea, DISCOM Support Operations, DMMC Sergeant Major 2nd Infantry Division Camp Casey Korea, Command Sergeant Major 702nd Main Support Battalion 2nd Infantry Division Camp Casey Korea, Command Sergeant Major 3rd Special Troops Battalion 3rd Brigade 101st Airborne Division Air Assault Fort Campbell KY, and Command Sergeant Major 194th CSSB Camp Humphreys Korea.

 

CSM Hall is currently assigned as the Command Sergeant Major of the 501st Sustainment Brigade at Camp Carroll Korea. His military education includes Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course, Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course, and the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy Class 1-04, other schools include, Battle Staff Course, Department of Defense Transportation of Hazardous Materials Course, Air Movement Operations Course, Airborne Course, Air Assault Course and Jumpmaster Course.
 

CSM Hall’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star, the Meritorious Service Medal (7OLC), Army Commendation Medal (4OLC), Army Achievement Medal (1OLC), Good Conduct Medal (8th award), National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Campaign Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global war on terrorism Medal, Korean Service Medal, NCO Development Ribbon (3OLC), Overseas Service Ribbon (3OLC), Army Service Ribbon, Saudi Arabian Liberation Medal, Liberation of Kuwait Medal, Combat Action Badge, Master Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, Israeli Parachutist Badge, Australian Parachutist Badge.  CSM is married to his wife Seongkeun.
